Every lesson is written to sound like a complete piece of music, They are carefully  crafted to teach music and musicianship as well as the technical aspects of harp playing.

   Features of the Members harp Lessons  

Each Harp Lesson contains several different grades or variations. Starting from the simplest level "a" each grade or variation takes you through the steps to be able to play the full lesson. 

Ideally you should  go through the course finishing one lesson at a time. If you are a slow learner you can go through the course at the basic level and come back and go through at the "b" level then the "c" level if you wish. Some people learn faster than others and may not need to play some of the "a" or "b"  level steps. 

  Introducing your first "real" piece of music  

A simple polka which can be played on any harp.
A simple melody with a 3/4 bass pattern to introduce 3/4 time.

The same melody with more complex harmony and introducing 
your first Paraguayan rhythmic pattern

Remember you can change the key of all these pieces to suit your harp
E.G. if the piece is written in C for a small harp and you have a 36 string
 Paraguayan or Celtic harp you may wish to play it in F or G.

1. The Lesson Number Column is at left, the small letters a-b or a-f etc indicate how many levels or
     variations there are in the lesson. E.G. Lesson five has five levels or grades of difficulty "a" being the easiest and "f" being the most difficult.
2. The Name Column shows the name of the lesson and the link to click on to see the lesson. 
3. The other columns show which type of harp the lesson can easily be played on.
