This new 36 string harp is a tall graceful harp in the style of the Celtic folk harps.
It is 1.55 meters high and has a round back and curved pillar and sits on an
attractive base which has four turned feet. The range is from A 2 1/2 octaves below
middle C up to A 2 1/2 octaves above middle C.
The bass is full and warm, the
mid-range is round and sweet, and the treble range sparkles. The six lower bass strings
can be either wound metal or nylon/nylon wrap. The metal bass strings give a bit more bite
and more sustain.
In common with other Welharps harps it has the split/divided
Paraguayan style neck with guitar machine heads.
This wonderful harp is
designed to be fitted with Cemac levers a $27.50 each.
